At Androbalance we genuinely understand your concerns regarding e-commerce security. That is why we have dedicated this page to explaining the safeguards that we have instituted to protect all of your transactions at our site.

On-Line Payments:

When you are ready to pay for your goods at our checkout you will be transferred to a Secure Server. In our case this is provided by WorldPay Limited, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland group. You can verify that you are in the Secure Server area in the following ways:

  1. The address of the website changes from http://www.etc. to https://www.etc the 's' signifying that the site is secure.
  2. At the bottom of your browser a padlock symbol will appear. This will appear locked or highlighted, indicating that you are in a secure area:

These changes denote that you are now within a Secure Server and it is safe to enter your credit card details. Any information entered whilst in this secure area is encrypted using industry standard 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology at the browser. At the Worldpay server, Thawte 2048 bit military strength encryption is used. Your credit card details are not held in plain text on any web site and are not seen even by Androbalance staff.

Furthermore, we have been approved by Shopsafe, the on-line shopping directory as a secure e-commerce site. This can give you confidence when shopping with us that we are using today's best available practices and technologies for on-line credit card transactions.
